Movement is the pillar

Not to suffer through exercises, not take a daily beatdown, not hate your way through x minutes on a treadmill. Gone are the days of having to force yourself to the gym Instead, we are welcoming a whole new paradigm shift - a space where you get EXCITED for your daily dose of movement, and through habit formation and eventual ritual, it quickly does become a pillar of your life and something your long for and means by which you live your life

Movement. And there are a million ways that can work in your life. We, as humans, are designed to move. Daily habits and life's circumstances often throw a wrench into even the best-laid plans but I am here to tell you that the key in all of this is to find something you enjoy. Find a thing you actually love (it does exist, I promise!) and do that! Do it until you don't anymore, and then do something else.

The real key to continued forward progress, joy, satisfaction, and results is in diversifying your movement. With my clients, we do two non-traditional strength classes a week, 1 HIIT class (scaled or modified for the individual), and on the other days, we choose a diversified action - walking hiking swimming, biking, etc. The possibilities really are endless

I guess in a way I'm getting ahead of myself. What we really need here is to get started. Get started down a new path and approach movement in a way you have never experienced before by doing these simple 3 things:

  1. Start now. Don't dwell on yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow, get up and move today. The most important piece toward getting started is an open mind.

  2. Don't be afraid to try new things. Forget whatever trainer or ad that told you that walking wasn't effective or aerobics is silly - YOU choose and find YOUR joy.

  3. Diversify movement - we do this for many reasons, but mostly to enjoy the process, avoid injury, and promote longevity and functional strength.

My programming is all about smashing barriers. Every barrier every person has ever experienced when it comes to achieving personal health and wellness goals. That is why my community is full of people with busy schedules who are THRIVING and truly living their best lives! We have all genders, ages, shapes, sizes, physical abilities, schedules and time zones. This is your final destination, and it's time to start taking are of YOU!
